Based on Ancient Greek mythology, this Playtech slot offers a range of features you’ll be sure to enjoy. Just like most mythology-themed slots, this game has brilliant aesthetics. The colors are vibrant and the graphics crisp. The gameplay is dynamic yet uncomplicated. You can play the game on all desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You may start by clicking on the Lines +/- to set the number of lines you want to play. You may then click on the Line Bet +/- tabs to set the amount you want to wager per line. If you want to wager the highest amount allowed, click on the Bet Max tab.

Feature Symbols

The game’s low-value symbols are represented by familiar playing card symbols. You will see the 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A symbols in a glowing and artistic design. The game has four high-value symbols, which are all theme-related. They are represented by the god Atlas, Apollo, and Hephaestus, as well as the goddess Pandora.

The game’s Wild symbol is represented by a golden circle with a huge golden 4 in front of it. This symbol pays out on its own and also substitutes for any of the other base game symbols, with the exception of the Scatter symbol. The game’s Scatter symbol is represented by a golden throne. This symbol also pays out on its own and is also key to the game’s main bonus round.

Bonus Rounds

The game’s main bonus round is the familiar Free Spins round. This is activated when you land at least three Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. You will be rewarded with 12 free spins. If you manage to land a stack of gods on the third reel during any of your free spins, you will be rewarded with the following:

• Age of Light/Apollo - You get four extra spins, with Apollo becoming an extra expanding Wild.
• Age of Curiosity/Pandora - You will be rewarded with a cash prize and four extra spins. Additionally, the multiplier will increase by one for any win you land on each win.
• Age of Fire/Hephaestus - You get four extra spins, and the first reel will become completely Wild. Extra Wilds will also be added to the other reels.
• Age of Endurance/Atlas - You get three extra spins, and Atlas will become an extra Wild that is locked into place until all spins are completed.

Although there are ways to win more spins, the Free Spins feature itself cannot be re-triggered.

One of the things that make this game more exciting is the progressive jackpot, which can be awarded on any paid spin. Furious 4 features the brilliant Playtech progressive jackpot system and is a slight upgrade in terms of graphics compared to it’s older Fantastic 4 cousin.

My Verdict: Well I already named Fantastic 4 in my top 30 slots of all time last year, and once you get used to the way this slot differs in movement and symbols then it is just as enjoyable as the original. Perhaps even more so actually due to the upgrade in graphics. As far as wins go it seems to pay the same as the original, my first two free spins rounds have been 130 x stake and then 11 x stake. I suppose my only gripe with this slot is that I was really hoping that Playtech would have given the return to player a little bit of a boost now that Disney / Marvel are not taking a cut of the profits. That’s a mighty shame. But apart from that I am loving this already!
